Management
• Manager of the Student Life/AS Office. Report to the Vice President of Student Services. Coordinate student government, student activities, clubs, student ambassador program, campus tours, student ID cards, online housing listings and the Student Life calendar and web page.
• Approve AS/Club advances, request for payments and facilities requests. Complete monthly and annual reports, department program reviews, unit goals, and student learning outcomes.
• Oversee student representation on Campus Senate District and Hiring Committees.

Advising
• Advisor to 25 Associated Students of Napa Valley College Government Officers. Provide an AS Syllabus, advise weekly board meetings, and hold individual weekly meetings with the AS President, Inter-Club Council President and AS CFO.
• Coordinate AS monthly campus events, complete AS mid-semester evaluations, and oversee AS annual budget of $65,000.
• Advisory technique is Strengths Based Advising and “Moving in, Moving Through and Moving Out” Chickering and Schlossberg Transitional Student Development Theory.
• Recruit and train an average of 30 active student clubs and organizations a year. Serve as the advisor to the Inter-Club Council, provide a monthly advisor newsletter, and End of the Year Club Award Luncheon.
• Organize annual 3 day/2 night Fall Leadership Retreat in Bodega Bay, and 1 day Spring Leadership Retreat at Westminster Woods. Advise and teach team-building, advocacy, diversity training, and leadership development workshops.
